Computer Training

COMPUTER LABS
Technology in the workplace as well as in our homes and schools continues to grow at a fast pace. Computer literacy has become a necessary skill requirement for almost any vocation. Our computer training programs are designed to meet the diverse needs of clientele, some of which have never touched a computer. Familiarity with software programs, printers, databases and surfing the world-wide Web is taught through instruction and hands-on application.

BEGINNERS LAB
This lab consists of 10 computers with the Windows 2000 operating system and Office 2000 which includes Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and other desktop publishing software and programs.

ADVANCED LAB
This lab has 7 computers that feature the Windows 2000 operating system. One PC has the Windows XP Professional operating system.

The computer labs are set up for easy adaptability and expansion to better match the growing technological needs within the workplace.

Access to four (4) color laser printers, a high-quality ink-jet printer and high-speed Internet connectivity is available. Desktop publishing, video and graphic arts as well as word processing programs and techniques are all explored.
